地域政策デザイナー養成講座、環境モデル都市「北九州」の聖地、エコタウンセンターに来ています。今回のフィールドワークを通して、政策デザイナー達は環境政策への理解を進めます。そして、「グリーン経済の構築」という大テーマを掲げ、地球温暖化への対応、環境ビジネスの展開、ヒューマンリソースなどの提言を目指すのです。
今回も取材班として同行しておりますが、いつもながら私にとっても勉強になります。北九州の取り組みで特に興味を惹かれたのは「市民環境力」の強化というもの。
もともと、北九州の環境問題が最悪だった頃に立ち上がったのは市民(婦人会)といいます。トップダウンで進めても民度が低ければ、何も解決しません。市民を強力に巻き込んだ事例として、環境以外の分野でも見習うべきケーススタディです。
コミュニティの力と、テクノロジーの力を組み合わせると、世界規模の問題も解決することができる。エキサイティング！！
I come to "Eco Town Center" in Kitakyushu city as media team of Local Policy Designer, Kyushu university. Here is the special area where there are model facilities of the latest technologies about sustainable energy, such as wind power generation, solar power panels, and so on.
The goal of our activities is "Create the green economy". Kitakyushu is one of the best city for the evaluation of environmental policy and that implementation from Japanese government.The keyword of this success is "Smart community". I'm really interested in this theme.
